Day One (Lunch & Dinner)
Day one starts as we leave Melbourne and head straight to the 12 Apostles to arrive before the crowds. Grab some awesome photos of one of Australia’s most iconic natural landmarks as you explore the lookout points before we head to Loch Ard Gorge, where you can learn more about the famous shipwreck that happened here.
Then it’s on to a bushwalk around the ancient Otways Rainforest, soaking up the nature and wildlife along the way. We’ll stop for lunch in Apollo Bay and then move on to koala spotting and Queenscliff. Enjoy a delicious dinner with your travel companions before bedding down for the night.
Day Two (Breakfast)
Day two starts with breakfast before we head to Queenscliff for the short ferry ride across Port Phillip Bay to Sorrento – look out for seals and dolphins along the way.
Once we’re back on land, we’ll explore the Mornington Peninsula then cross the bridge to Phillip Island where it’s time for wildlife watching at the Koala Reserve. Here, you can spot koalas, wallabies, colourful birdlife and maybe even an echidna.
In the afternoon, we’ll check out the Nobbies, and the Blowhole for more natural beauty, and Summerlands beach for the evening Penguin Parade. Take a seat on the beach and be amazed as the little penguin come ashore and waddle across the beach to their homes in the sand dunes. We will then make our way back to Melbourne.
