Day One (Dinner)
We’ll kick off the tour departing Adelaide bright and early and heading straight to the Grampians National Park.
Afterwards, we’ll move on to Reed’s Lookout or Lake Bellfield, take a stroll along the stunning shore of the lake, and visit the Jaws of Death and some centuries-old Aboriginal cave paintings in the Grampians National Park.
We’ll then make our way to MacKenzie Falls or Silverband Falls for a leisurely walk before we head to Boroka Lookout or Venus Baths for breath-taking mountain views. Finally, we’ll stop in Halls Gap at the heart of the Grampians, where you can spot some kangaroos and tuck into a delicious dinner.
Day Two (Breakfast)
Day two starts with a rewarding hike to the Pinnacle lookout for unbeatable views over the Grampians. Then we’ll head south towards the Great Ocean Road to Tower Hill, a 30,000-year-old extinct volcano. The area is rich in Aboriginal history and Aussie wildlife. Spot koalas snoozing in the eucalyptus trees, observe emus wandering about the picnic areas or maybe even spot an echidna.
In the evening we head into the charming coastal town of Warrnambool.
Day Three (Breakfast)
Our third and final day is spent travelling along the impressive Great Ocean Road on our way to Melbourne. After breakfast, we’ll begin the final leg of the journey with a stop at the Bay of Martyrs and London Bridge for a stunning photo opportunity.
Afterwards, it’s on to Loch Ard Gorge along the Shipwreck Coast and the Twelve Apostles, one of Australia’s most iconic natural monuments.
We’ll then take a guided bushwalk through the ancient landscape of the Otway Rainforest. In the afternoon we take a stroll for some koala spotting, before continuing on to Memorial Arch for another photo opportunity, and Anglesea, to experience the small-town coastal vibe of the region. We’ll finally make our way on to Melbourne, where the tour, unfortunately, comes to an end.
