About The Tour
This one-day cultural extravaganza lets you indulge in all the best bits the Hunter Valley has to offer. We’re talking delicious wines, vodkas, and chocolates – there’s a little something for everyone in this part of the country. Throughout the day, you can duck into cellar doors, sample local cuisine, and marvel at how some of the world’s best-loved drinks are made.
Operates: Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday
Please note, the minimum age for this tour is 18 years old.
This tour does not include hotel drop offs and will conclude at George Street, Sydney Central (near Central Station).
We start our Hunter Valley Wine, Vodka and Foodie experience by leaving Sydney and heading straight into the clutches of the Hunter Valley via the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Our first stop is the Hunter Valley Chocolate Factory, where you can indulge your sweet tooth on the many chocolates and fudges in the showroom.
From there, it’s on to the Hunter Distillery, where you can try some of the local vodka and liqueur against a beautiful backdrop of the valley. This is the only certified organic Distillery in the region, and their award-winning Copperware Gin is a must-try!
When hunger starts calling, we’ll head to the Matilda Bay Brewhouse for a traditional lunch before trying out some of the ales, lagers, and ciders on offer, as well as the on-site cellar door where you can get a taste for some of the local wines. If you’d prefer to relax, you can grab a coffee and enjoy the views across the Valley from the Brewhouse.
In the afternoon, we’ll take you to two more winery cellar doors where you can sample even more local tipples. Once you’ve sipped and slurped your way through some of the best, we’ll head back to the hustle and bustle of Sydney where the tour comes to a close.
