With over 300 hectares of snowy terrain to ski and explore, one day at Mount Buller is just not enough. If you want more time to hit the slopes, soak up the snowy mountain scenery or enjoy the numerous activities on offer at the Mount Buller Snow Resort, then select our Return on a Different Day Tour. You choose which day you want to return, so you can stay a night or a month!
Operates: Daily (June-September – depending on snow coverage)
Departs: 5:30am for arrival at Mount Buller at approximately 10:30am
Returns: Approx. 8:30pm (departure from Mount Buller 4:00pm)

Children: $230 (2 – 17 years)
Children under 2 years can travel free on the lap of a parent.
Equipment and clothing can be hired for the duration of your stay on the way to Mount Buller on the day of your tour.
Whether you are an experienced skier keen to hit the slopes or a total novice seeing snow for the first time, there is something for everyone at Mount Buller. From ski runs of all levels to 30 different bars and restaurants, you’ll find plenty of ways to enjoy the snow and soak up the atmosphere at the Mount Buller Resort. And the most stress-free way to get there is with our Mount Buller tours from Melbourne.
Departing from Melbourne nice and early, we travel through the Victorian countryside towards Mount Buller. We’ll make a brief stop on the way at Mansfield, where you can pick up everything you need for a stay at Mount Buller. Everything from pants to snowboards is available for hire, so you’ll be all set to enjoy the snow.
We’ll arrive at Mount Buller by 10:30am, and from there you are free to get out and make the most of your time on the mountain! Why not organise a ski or snowboard lesson to learn the basics or hone your skills? Then check out the ski runs – from the wide beginner run Bourke Street to the black run Chamois, there are options for all levels that can be accessed via 20 ski lifts. Plus, there are stacks of other indoor and outdoor activities on offer at the resort including toboggan parks, a spa retreat, cinema, scenic chair lift and even dog sled tours!
As the sun starts to set, get a few extra runs in before you grab some dinner and settle into your accommodation. If you’re staying over on a Wednesday or Saturday, you can even enjoy the resort Twilight Sessions to ski or snowboard down the Bourke Street run after dark under lights. Then get some rest to wake nice and early and take advantage of the empty ski runs before the day trippers arrive. On your last day, meet our bus in the afternoon to take you back to Melbourne.
Accommodation is not included. Please arrange your own accommodation for the duration of your stay at Mount Buller.
