After months of hibernation, we’re eager to welcome visitors to Cairns again.

Check out the tours we have available to book now and plan your trip to explore the natural wonders of Tropical North Queensland.

After spending months at home and having travel plans thrown out the window, many of us are experiencing some serious cabin fever. With Queensland reopening its borders again to most of Australia last week, now is the perfect time to plan a trip to Tropical North Queensland to explore the array of natural wonders on offer around Cairns. We’re super excited about showing travellers our favourite spots and have already started running many of our tours in the area. Read on for a run down on what’s on offer and start planning your trip!

  • Great Barrier Reef

No trip to Cairns is complete without a day spent exploring the enchanting underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef. The good news is, we have several tours ready to take you there. All our Great Barrier Reef tours include snorkelling and lunch, so which one you chose will depend mostly on what other activities you want to do on the reef.

Ready to explore deeper underwater with a dive? Our Great Barrier Reef Deluxe tour (available every day) includes a certified dive or a beginner dive, so even travellers with no previous experience can discover what’s deep below the surface. For travellers with children, we recommend our Pontoon Adventure, which offers a stack of activities on the stable reef platform. If you are after something a little bit special, our Premium Snorkelling Tour is conducted on a sailing catamaran and in the right conditions you can experience the thrill of gliding across the water under sail. Both the Pontoon and Premium Snorkelling tours are available at a reduced schedule so check the tour page for departure days. If one day doesn’t sound like enough time, check out our two and three day Liveaboard tours.

  • Fitzroy Island

Lying just off the coast of Cairns is the picture-perfect tropical paradise of Fitzroy Island. Here you can relax on the unique beaches, made of thousands of pieces of broken coral from the surrounding reef, or explore the lush rainforest that covers much of the island via the walking tracks. In the water you can snorkel the pristine fringing reef, bounce on the water trampoline or explore the coast with a kayak. The island is also a great place to spot turtles. Tours are running on weekends only, so be sure to plan your itinerary to include a day trip to Fitzroy Island.

  • Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation

Not all of Cairns’ attractions lie underwater, there is plenty to do for land lovers as well. The World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest is another astonishing natural treasure, home to dense ancient rainforest, peaceful creeks and swimming holes, pristine beaches and some crazy wildlife. Our 1 Day Cape Tribulation & Daintree Rainforest Tour will take you to explore the highlights of this beautiful region, including a crocodile spotting cruise on the Daintree River, guided rainforest walks and a stroll along the breathtaking Cape Tribulation Beach. We’re running a reduced schedule with a maximum of six travellers, so book early to avoid disappointment.

  • Green Island

Usually packed with travellers, now is the perfect time to visit Green Island. A day trip to this idyllic piece of paradise offers you the chance to laze about on beaches lined with swaying coconut trees, snorkel the fringing reef and explore the lush rainforest that covers the island. Tours are running Fridays and Saturdays, so make a plan to include Green Island on your trip!
