Which wineries do we visit on tour?
We visit several boutique and well-known wineries on our Hunter Valley tours. The wineries visited change depending on what is open and available. Some wineries we regularly stop at include McGuigan Wines, Cypress Lakes, Iron Gate Estate, Savannah Estate, Kevin Sobels, Capercaillie Wines, Tempus Two, Blueberry Hill and Ernest Hill.
Can we join the tour from the Hunter Valley?
Yes! If you are staying in the Hunter Valley, you can join our Hunter Valley from the Hunter Valley tour. We pick up from accommodation in Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury, Broke, Nulkaba, Wollombi, Cessnock and Maitland. When you book, simply include your accommodation in the notes and we will contact you a few days before your tour with a pickup time. Feel free to contact us if you want to check if we can pick up from your accommodation.
Can we bring children on tour?
Sorry, children under the age of 18 years are not permitted on our Hunter Valley wine tours. The minimum drinking age in Australia is 18 years. You may be asked for photo ID by our guide or at the wineries.
Is lunch included on the Hunter Valley tours?
Lunch is included on our Hunter Valley tours from Sydney. Lunch is not included on our Hunter Valley Tour from the Hunter Valley. However, we stop somewhere for lunch at your own expense. We usually visit a winery or brewery for lunch, depending on the day.
I don’t drink, can I still join the tour?
Yes! You are still welcome to join our Hunter Valley wine tours even if you don’t drink. However, be aware that most of the activities and attractions are wine based. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a discount if you don’t participate in wine tastings.
