Peterson House has a selection of sparkling wine and great food.

Peterson House is often selected as one of the first wineries to visit during a trip to the Hunter Valley. It’s the perfect starting point to enjoy great food and try the bubbly wine that they’re known for.

With a few options to do at Peterson House, check out what you’ll be doing on your visit to this Hunter Valley winery.

Try a selection of wines at the wine tastings

Peterson House offers three different wine tastings where you try a selection of their wines. The seated wine tasting gives you the option to select five sparkling wines from the list.

The premium wine tasting has you try five of their best premium sparkling wines.

If you’re a sweet tooth, you’ll love the gelato and sparkling wine tasting. This wine experience has four gelato flavours from a local gelato shop to pair with the wine.

Eat a meal at Restaurant Cuvee

Sit down and enjoy breakfast or lunch at Peterson House’s own Restaurant Cuvee. The modern Australian restaurant uses fresh and seasonal ingredients from local suppliers.

Breakfast covers your classic meals like eggs on toast, omelettes, and roasted mushrooms. While lunch has a bigger menu with starters, sharing, mains, and desserts. If you need a drink, you can order wine, juice, smoothies, coffee, tea, and milkshakes.

Join the member club

There are two clubs to pick from, the Pink Club and the Premium Club. The Pink Club is for the sweeter bubble lovers and the Premium Club is best for those who love premium dryer sparkling wines.

Both options include the benefits of discounts for wine, private tastings, member only events, and more!

Have a wedding at the Chapel

Something a bit more romantic and unique is a wedding at Peterson House’s Chapel! The Chapel has views of the vineyard and is made of sandstone and timber.

You can have a wedding of up to 140 people and Peterson House will organise and help tailor a package for your dream wedding. The Chapel can go from your ceremony to your reception. Or there is the Vineyard Marquee for a larger reception group that can fit up to 250 people.

The history of Peterson House

Peterson House started with Ian Peterson who celebrated with a special wine when his grandchildren were born. After the arrival of his first grandchild, he made a sparkling wine and then he realised no one in NSW was producing sparkling wines in small volumes. Just from this idea, he started to produce sparkling wine, because life’s glad without bubbles as they say!

The wines of Peterson House

Peterson House offers a selection of sparkling wine, still wine, and dessert wine. Both sparkling and still wines include red and white that you can buy at the cellar door or online.
