Where do we stay on the overnight tours to the Daintree Rainforest?
On the 2 Day Cape Tribulation Tour, dormitory accommodation is included at PKs Jungle Village. On the overnight tour, dormitory accommodation is included at your choice of either PKs Jungle Village, Fern Tree Rainforest Lodge or Cape Trib Beach House. Private room upgrades may be available, so contact us to check availability.
What is the difference between the tours?
All tours visit the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation on a 20 seat bus with a local guide. The differences are in the inclusions and stops. Check the tour page for more details.
How much fitness is required for the Daintree tours?
All our Daintree Rainforest tours require a reasonable level of mobility. Guided walks are adapted to suit the group. You’re welcome to walk at your own pace and can sit out any walks if you don’t feel up to it. Feel free to contact us if you are concerned about mobility issues.
Is the Daintree Rainforest safe?
Yes! The Daintree Rainforest is certainly not without dangers, including the fearsome crocodile. But the area is well signed, and with a knowledgeable guide, you’re in safe hands.
Will the tour still go ahead if it’s raining?
Yes. Tours will run even if it’s raining, except on the very rare occasions when it’s unsafe. Please bring a rain jacket and a change of clothes if it’s raining on the day of your tour.
Can you swim in the Daintree?
Yes. There are several safe swimming spots in the Daintree Rainforest. There is usually the opportunity to swim on our Daintree Rainforest tours, depending on the conditions. Please bring swimwear and a towel if you want to swim.
How can I change the date or cancel my reservation?
We’ll try to accommodate any date changes made more than two days before travel. Date changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
