Best Time to Visit Queensland

South-east Queensland (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Whitsundays): April to October is the dry season, warm and less humid. Summer (December to February) is hot and humid, with afternoon storms.

Far North Queensland (Cairns, Daintree): May to October is the dry season. November to April is the wet season, with heavy tropical rain and stingers in the coastal waters.
