Itinerary

1 Day Moreton Island Tour Itinerary

We start the day enjoying a relaxing drink on board the luxury catamaran as we head towards Moreton Island. Once we arrive on the island, you will enjoy the numerous facilities of the Tangalooma Resort. Splash in the swimming pools, challenge your friends at the sports facilities, have a go on the pool tables and relax at the selection of bars and restaurants on-site.

Hire snorkelling equipment to explore the underwater world of the island or simply kick back and relax in the sun on the beach. For unique experiences exploring the island and discovering the local marine life, upgrade to one of four optional activities including Desert Safari Tour, Marine Discovery Cruise, Quad Biking, Whale Watching or Snorkelling the Wrecks.

We check out the Tangalooma Marine Education and Conservation Centre, where you can learn about the amazing sea life of the area. In the afternoon, you can learn more about some of Moreton Island’s most famous inhabitants with a “Discover the World of Dolphins” Eco Ranger presentation.

In the evening, we return on the catamaran after a wonderful and relaxing day of exploring Moreton Island.

Marine Discovery Tour: jump aboard our purpose-built boat to explore Moreton Island’s coastline in search of the intriguing sea life that inhabits the water of the island. Adult – $50 Child – $50
Desert Safari Tour: this 4WD adventure will take you to the Tangalooma Desert to try your hand at sand tobogganing. Adult – $50 Child – $50
Whale Watching Cruise: our comfortable catamaran will take you in search of whales during the winter months (June – October). Adult – $50 Child – $50
ATV Quad Biking: Get ready to feel the excitement of cruising along the beach and through the bushland at Tangalooma on an ATV quad bike. Adult – $60 Child – $70
