Departing Cairns’ Marlin Marina just before sunset, the onboard team on the beautifully fitted-out Spirit of Cairns sailing yacht will welcome you with a glass of sparkling wine and a variety of other refreshments. As the vessel redirects her bow towards the calm waters of Trinity Inlet, you’re free to explore its series of interior and exterior decks for the very best vistas of the rainforest-clad mountains that ring the city.
As you voyage along the coast from the Cruise Liner Terminal to the thriving Esplanade area of the city, you’ll be able to enjoy the full splendour of nightfall, with the bright lights of Cairns competing with the stars above them.
It will then be time to head towards the air-conditioned internal dining space, where an exquisite buffet-style dinner has been prepared. You’ll be able to fill your plate with such delights as natural oysters and meats from a charcuterie board in addition to local fish, calamari, and a range of sides. Finish off your meal with a selection of fresh fruits, cheeses, and gourmet sweets.
