Discover the vibrant tropical reef with a variety of marine life and unique coral.

Moore Reef, located almost 50 kilometres from Cairns, is one of the few reefs with a pontoon. It is among the best and most popular spots to explore the Great Barrier Reef and offers a range of adventures for visitors.

The pontoon has everything you need

The pontoon at Moore Reef provides a day full of fun and activities. You can explore the reef through snorkelling or diving, enjoy waterslides, relax in a pool, and savour food throughout the day. With activities for the entire family, the pontoon has everything you could imagine.

Don’t miss the opportunity to try snorkelling, scuba diving, or helmet diving to experience the diverse coral and marine life. If you prefer to stay dry, you can choose to ride in a glass bottom boat or semi submarine.

Discover the marine species

Moore Reef is home to some of the most fascinating marine species in the Great Barrier Reef. While there’s no guarantee that you’ll see them, you might be lucky to spot beautiful sea turtles, white tip reef sharks, and the large humphead Maori wrasse. Of course, there are also numerous colourful fish swimming among the coral.
