Be prepared to be blown away by Hartley's collection of animals, including fearsome saltwater crocodiles, with our Hartleys Crocodile Adventure Day Tour. We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Cairns to transport you to this famous wildlife park, ready for a day of unbeatable animal encounters. Throughout the day, there are a range of activities and keeper talks to observe the animals in action and learn all about them in a thrilling (but safe!) environment.

We’ll start the day off by picking you up from your Cairns accommodation and heading straight to Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures. Once we arrive, you’re free to explore the park and get to know the weird and wonderful animals that call it home. There is a range of encounters and activities available throughout the day, so be sure to plan your day to maximise your adventure!
An absolute must while you are here is the Crocodile Interaction Boat Tour. You’ll cruise on the Hartleys Lagoon in a safe observation boat to witness saltwater crocs being fed in their natural habitat. These awe-inspiring reptiles use their instinctive hunting skills to leap from the water and chomp down on a piece of meat. Be sure to book your cruise time on arrival for this unforgettable experience. Crocodile spotting is guaranteed!
To learn more about the animals in the park and witness them in action, join one of the Hartleys animal presentations. You can watch the snake presentation (10:00am) and the crocodile feeding show (11:00am).
For a unique souvenir of your experience, why not get a photo with one of the animals in the park? Koala, crocodile and snake photos are available at selected times for an additional cost.
When you’re not being blown away by the keeper presentations, there are stacks of animals to view throughout the park. Explore the Gondwana Gateway to observe many native Australian animals including wombats, kangaroos, emus, bats and lizards. The Cassowary Garden is home to an array of birdlife and the Wildlife Discover Trail includes a range of wetland animals including turtles and waterbirds.
When you get hungry, enjoy a snack or lunch at Lilies Restaurant. After lunch, we’ll meet back up to return you to your accommodation in Cairns.
