Pickups occur in the suburbs of Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury, Broke and Cessnock. Please provide us with your accommodation address in the tour notes section when making your booking. We will notify you of your pickup time prior to the date of your tour.
The day will take you to three of the Hunter Valley’s best-loved wineries, where you’ll sample some of the unique flavours and learn more about the process that makes each bottle so different. If you want to try something a bit harder, you can taste the quirky vodka flavours at the Hunter Distillery – expect flavours like coffee, lime, chilli, and Turkish Delight.
To accompany the wine and vodka, you’ll get to try some of the creamy homemade cheeses at the Smelly Cheese Shop before we help you satisfy your sweet tooth at either the Hunter Chocolate Shop or the Sabor Dessert Bar.
Lunch on our Hunter Valley Winery Tour, is at one of the Hunter Valley’s traditional pubs – either the Matilda Bay Brewhouse or Harrigan’s Irish Pub – where you can settle for a light bite or a hearty meal to soak up the tipple, and then it’s on to beer tasting and yet more picturesque vineyards.
This one-day Hunter Valley Winery Tour gives you a fabulous insight into the winemaking of the Hunter Valley, as well as the many other features that make this area such a well-loved part of Australia.
