Walking trails

From Evans Lookout, there are a few different walking trails you can do to discover more of the Blue Mountains. You’ll come across magnificent waterfalls, creeks, rivers, and possibly find some wildlife in the forest.

Cliff Top walking track

Cliff Top walking track is about three hours return between Evans Lookout and Govetts Leap. You will see breathtaking views across Blue Mountains during your walk. During the walk, there are plenty of bids to watch out for and beautiful wildflowers.
Grand Canyon track

Grand Canyon track goes by Evans Lookout, but you can start the walk from here too! The walk is about three to four hours and you’ll see a range of magnificent waterfalls, creeks, and picturesque views.

Blue Mountains Heritage Centre

The Heritage Centre is near Evans Lookout and is perfect to check out during your day. You’ll learn about the culture of the Darkinjung, Dharawal, Dharug, Gundungurra, Wonnarua, and Wiradjuri people who are the traditional owners of the land. Additionally, there is information about the Blue Mountains like the plants and wildlife.
