How can I get to Leura?

Leura is a suburb in the Blue Mountains which is over an hour away from Sydney. If driving by car, it will take about an hour and a half to reach Leura from Sydney. You will want to drive down the M4 and Great Western Highway/A32.

Getting to Leura from Sydney via public transport takes about two hours by train. You can get a train from Central Station on the Blue Mountains Line down to Leura Station.

Some of the best time to visit Leura is during spring which is between September to November. Around this time, you have heaps of flowers blooming, especially the bulbs and cherry blossoms.

Leura is one of the main attractions for travellers to visit during spring because of how vibrant and colourful it can get. And each year around October there is the Leura Gardens Festival.
