How to get to the Hunter Valley from Sydney

The drive from Sydney to the Hunter Valley takes about two hours each way, so it is best to leave mid-morning to make the most of your day. As you leave Sydney, you will mostly drive along the M1 motorway and follow the signs to the Hunter Valley.
