2 Day Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley and Port Stephens Tour Itinerary
Day One
On the first day of our 2 Day Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley and Port Stephens tour, we leave Sydney and head north to Port Stephens, passing over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Darling Harbour as we go. When we arrive in Port Stephens, you’ll have the opportunity to try your hand at sandboarding, where you can whizz down the picturesque sand dunes for an adrenalin pumping adventure, or go on a dolphin cruise (at your own expense) to watch the cheeky critters jump in and out of the waves.
Alternatively, you can relax by taking a refreshing dip in the sparkling shallows of Nelson Bay and admire the breath-taking views from the nearby lighthouse.
From Port Stephens, we head on to Hunter Valley – Australia’s most prominent wine-making region. Here, you can indulge in some vodka, schnapps, and liqueur tastings, before tucking into some chocolate at a secret location that overlooks the sprawling expanse of the Valley. As darkness falls, we’ll settle into our accommodation in the heart of the Hunter Valley after a delicious meal at Potters Brewhouse.
Day Two (B)
After breakfast, we’ll head off early to the Blue Mountains, passing through the impressive Great Dividing Range. Keep your eyes peeled for kangaroos as we go! When we get to the Blue Mountains, you’ll have the chance to explore the unique natural rock formations that characterise the area, like the Three Sisters and the impressive scene of Wentworth Falls as it looks out over the Jamison Valley.
In the afternoon, you can wander through the lush rainforest and spot some of the local wildlife before we head back to Sydney. This is where your two-day Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley and Port Stephens Tour unfortunately comes to an end.
