Get ready for Mount Buller’s snow season!

The 2024 snow season on Mount Buller is in full swing following the season opening on June 8th. This year is a big year for Mount Buller as it celebrates its 100 year anniversary.

In June of 1924, members of the Ski Club of Victoria scoped out the mountain as a place for snow sports. Less than a month later, on the 6th of July 1924, the slopes were skied. This marks the beginning of the Mount Buller resort, which has been a popular ski area ever since.

Mount Buller often receives snow during the winter months, but don’t worry if it hasn’t snowed lately. The resort is well-equipped to create snow so that visitors can still hit the slopes. Even if it isn’t snowing it will still be cold, so be sure to dress warm.
