With the hard work out of the way early, we have the rest of the day to enjoy the stunning coastal drive to the 12 Apostles, making plenty of stops along the way. Madeline from Greenspectrum will be onboard to give a Zero Waste Talk and we'll tuck into a delicious lunch at Rogue Wave Brewery. The tour price includes a $25 donation to Tangaroa Blue Foundation, so at the end of the day you will feel all warm and fuzzy for all the good you are doing to help clean up Australian beaches!

Great Ocean Road Beach Clean with Trash Bags on Tour Itinerary
At Sightseeing Tours Australia, we realise the importance of looking after one of Australia’s most well-known natural assets. With millions of travellers flocking to Australia to experience our spectacular coast, we want them to be impressed, not disgusted, by what they see. That’s why we have teamed up with Trash Bags on Tour to conduct a beach clean tour along the Great Ocean Road.
Trash Bags on Tour is a not for profit initiative that aims to educate and raise awareness of the impact our reliance on single use plastic is having on the environment. The group have previously arranged clean ups along some of Victoria’s best-known tourist destinations including the You Yangs and Mornington Peninsula. Their tours combine educational talks with beach cleans at beautiful natural destinations to highlight what we can all do minimise waste and take care of our natural environment.
Sightseeing Tours Australia will be sponsoring a beach clean tour along the Great Ocean Road on December 2nd, 2018. The tour will take in the spectacular beaches along the iconic scenic drive, with a beach clean stop at Memorial Arch in the morning. Once the hard work is done, we can relax and enjoy lunch at Rogue Wave Brewery before continuing to the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge in the afternoon. There will more stops along the way as well as a Zero Waste Talk from Madeline from Greenspectrum. We’ll arrive back in Melbourne in the evening, satisfied and inspired from a day out doing good things!
In sponsoring the tour, Sightseeing Tours Australia provide all the transport and cleaning equipment for the day. The tour price of $50 covers a delicious lunch at Rogue Wave Brewery and a $25 donation to Tangaroa Blue Foundation, a not for profit organisation dedicated to the removal and prevention of marine debris. Spaces are very limited so be sure to get in early to avoid missing out on this fantastic opportunity to see the remarkable sights of the Great Ocean Road and make a difference to the beautiful beaches that make the drive famous.
