1 Day Uluru Tour from Alice Springs Itinerary
We start the day travelling from Alice Springs as we head west between the jutting West MacDonnell Ranges. We’ll be enjoying the views along the way and will arrive in Yulara around midday.
On our first stop, once we arrive at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, you’ll have the chance to learn about the Aboriginal history that imbues the region at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.
It’s then on to Uluru, where you’ll meander along the Mala walking trail for a guided cultural walk of the base of the impressive monolith. We continue our exploration of Uluru with a second guided walk to Mutitjulu Waterhole, where you can check out some of the centuries-old Aboriginal rock paintings that adorn the walls and learn about the traditions of the Anangu people.
Finally, we’ll head back to Uluru to catch the sunset behind this beautiful sight. You’ll get to sip on complimentary wine and tuck into a delicious dinner as the sky turns to an inky black before heading back to Alice Springs. This is where the day-long tour comes to an end.
