Itinerary

3 Day Darwin to Alice Springs Tour Itinerary

Day One

We depart from Darwin and make our way to Litchfield National Park. We’ll enjoy a swim at Buley Rockhole, Tolmer Falls, Wangi Falls, and Florence Falls. You’ll also be able to marvel at the fascinating termite mounds found in the park.

After a day of swimming and hiking, we will continue the journey south. Our final stop of the day will be in the charming town of Adelaide River. Here, we will have a tasty pub meal before resting up for another adventurous day.

Day Two

To begin the day, we make our way to Nitmiluk National Park. Here, we’ll enjoy the cascading waterfalls and swimming spots. We will then continue to Katherine to relax with lunch (own cost) and refreshments.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit Bitter Springs, where you can float in the tranquil thermal stream. Then we’re off to the therapeutic Mataranka Hot Springs, where you can soak in these thermal baths and watch the sunset. We then hit the road continuing to Daly Waters to have dinner at the iconic Daly Waters Pub.

Day Three

The third day begins early as we make our way to Alice Springs. Along the way, you’ll be exposed to incredible landscapes that seem to roll on forever. We’ll stop off at the Devil’s Marbles (Karlu Karlu), a unique and surreal natural landmark in the heart of the outback before we arrive in Alice Springs in the evening. This is where your three-day adventure from Darwin comes to an end.
