3 Day Alice Springs to Darwin Tour
Why fly from the Red Centre to the Top End, when you can drive and experience all the amazing sights along the way? We depart from Alice Springs, heading north towards Darwin on the Stuart Highway, taking in the Devils Marbles, Mataranka Thermal Springs and Nitmiluk National Park along the way. We grab a icy-cold beer and relax in the historic Daly Waters Pub, and then continue our way to Darwin.

3 Day Alice Springs to Darwin Tour Itinerary
Day One
We depart early in the morning to head along the Stuart Highway to our first destination, Karlu Karlu (Devil’s Marbles). Admire these unique rock formations in the middle of the outback as you hear about their significance to Aboriginal culture. We continue the drive to Tenant Creek, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch (own cost).
After lunch, we will continue making our way north. Dinner will be at the famous Daly Waters Pub. Here, you will enjoy a delicious meal accompanied by live music.

Day Two
The next day we wake early to continue the journey north towards Darwin. After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a dip in the Mataranka Hot Springs. The next stop is Bitter Springs, which has a thermal stream perfect for a relaxing float.
We’ll stop for lunch (own cost) in Katherine before heading to Edith Falls for the rest of the afternoon. The falls are located in Nitmiluk National Park, which has heaps of great hikes and swimming spots.
Day two will conclude in Adelaide River. We’ll enjoy another delicious pub meal and spend the evening in this charming town.

Day Three
After another early rise and a hearty breakfast we make the short drive to Litchfield National Park. Wangi Falls, Florence Falls, and Buley Rockhole provide fantastic spots for a refreshing dip. We’ll visit the Magnetic and Cathedral Termite mounds before jumping back on the bus for the final leg towards Darwin.
