3 Day Kakadu & Litchfield Premium Camping Tour
Explore the wild bushland and impressive natural waterfalls of Kakadu and Litchfield on our three-day off-road adventure. You’ll have the chance to observe the Top End’s wildlife with a wetlands cruise, hike to incredible swimming holes and waterfalls, and travel in a 4WD through some of Australia’s most rugged landscapes. Along the way, you’ll hear the Aboriginal Dreamtime stories and admire the ancient rock art at Ubirr. Sleeping in tents, you’ll relish this Aussie Outback experience as you admire the astounding night sky.

Important Information
This tour is suitable for travellers with moderate to high level of fitness due to the walking distance of the tour and the weather conditions in the Northern Territory.
Child price is available for children age between 8 – 17 years and children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. Children age 7 years and under are not suitable for this tour.
If you have any medical condition, you MUST advise us at the time of booking. A doctor’s certificate is required for travellers age 70 years and above (30 days prior to departure).
If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking.
We have limited space on our 4WD transportation and therefore luggage is limited to one 15kg soft bag or backpack and a day pack per person.

Day One (lunch & dinner)
We depart nice and early from Darwin, ready to make the most of day one of this adventure tour of Kakadu and Litchfield. Things kick off with a Mary River Wetlands Cruise for an introduction into the incredible array of wildlife that call this area home. Keeps your eyes peeled for crocodiles and buffalo in the water, and some of the 250 bird species that nest in the Top End.
Next up, we enter Kakadu National Park and stop for a picnic lunch in a scenic area along the South Alligator River, before our journey takes us through the bush and deeper into the park. We arrive at Ubirr Rock in the afternoon, where your guide will interpret the ancient Aboriginal rock art that decorates the walls and enlighten you with stories from the Dreamtime. We climb to the Nadab Lookout for incredible views over the floodplains all the way to Arnhem Land before we set up camp in our private campsite.
Day Two (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Discover the highlights of the Top End, camping under the stars on our 4WD Outback adventure.
Rise and shine ready for a day of exploring Kakadu! Today we journey off-road in search of waterfalls and discover the spectacular natural scenery that makes this place so special. We aim to visit one or more of the available waterfalls depending on the group’s physical ability to complete the hikes. These can include any of the following: Moto Car Falls, Moline Rockhole, Maguk (Barramundi Gorge), or Jim Jim Falls. If we have time, we’ll make a final stop at Burrungkuy (Nourlangie Rock), an incredible indigenous rock art site home to works over 20,000 years old. We jump back on the bus and head out of Kakadu toward Litchfield where we spend the night in our private campsite.
Day Three (breakfast and lunch)
We awake in Litchfield National Park, ready to spend the final day exploring this astonishing wilderness. Admire the weird magnetic and cathedral termite mounds dotted about the park and explore more picturesque waterfalls including Florence or Wangi Falls. Enjoy another swim at Buley Rockholes, before we head back into Darwin in the evening.
