This tour is recommended for travellers aged 18 years and above, however children 12 – 18 years may be permitted at adult prices. Please chat with us before you book if you are travelling with children.
This tour includes hikes of up to 9 kilometres, often in high temperatures and humidity. Please consider whether this tour is right for you and anyone travelling with you.
Luggage is restricted to a maximum of one 15kg backpack/soft travel bag and one hand luggage size bag. Strictly no suitcases.

Join our 10 Day Broome to Darwin Tour to explore Western Australia and the Top End, traveling through the rugged Kimberly region. The region is filled with breathtaking scenery with abundance of native Australian wildlife. Explore the rocky region of the Purnululu National Park and discover the prominent landmarks like the famous Bungle Bungles, stunning gorges in Windjana Gorge and a chance to explore the amazing sights of El Questro

Day 1: Broome to Tunnel Creek National Park
We’ll meet mid-morning to kick start our 10 Day Broome to Darwin tour and head out of Broom. We will then make our way to the Napier Range. Here, we will embark on a guided walk through the vast cave system at Tunne Creek. You will get to explore 750 metres underground and take in the intricate caves. The day will end in Western Kimberly with a campfire before the first night spent camping under the stars.

Day 2: Windjana Gorge
We will start the day early with breakfast before heading towards Windjana Gorge. Have your camera ready to snap pictures of what was once an underwater reef 350 million years ago. During the wet season, a river flows right the way through, but during the dry season it shrinks to a series of ponds and billabongs. We will venture further on the legendary Gibb River Road, a true outback odyssey passing over the vast rugged landscapes of the Kimberly. It is here we will set up camp for the night under the star-studded sky!

Day 3: Manning Gorge
On day three, we will swim in under Manning Falls while exploring Manning Gorge. Depending on the season, you may even have the chance to explore the stunning cascading gorges of Galvans Gorge. In the evening, relax by the flowing of freshwater river by the campsite and watch the sun go down near Manning Gorge.

Day 4: Gibb River to Kununurra
On this day we will journey al the iconic Aussie outback road track, the Gibb River Road. A drive across the vast Pentecost River will take us to Kununurra. This is where we will spend our fourth night camping along the Ord River.

Day 5: Purnululu National Park
On day five, we will drive across the rugged landscape into Purnululu National Park. This is the location of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bungle Bungles. You will find massive sandstone krasts, vast grasslands, and more. One of the highlights includes a walk through the Echidna Chasm. The day will end watching the sunset over the Osmond Ranges before tucking in under the stars for another night of camping.

Day 6: Purnululu National Park
On day seven, we will prepare for an action packed day full of activities. Explore the spectacular Bungle Bungles and if you’re feeling the need for more thrills, take the once a life time optional flight over the Bungle Bungles (at own expense). Be amazed as you soar over Lake Argle, the Ord and Bow Rivers and the Car Boyd and Osmand Ranges, before catching a glimpse of the Bungle Bungles from above! Learn about the cultural significance of the area while visiting the breathtaking Cathedral Gorge. As the sun goes down, we make our way back to our campsite.

Day 7: Bungle Bungles to El Questro
On day seven, jump aboard a 4WD to travel from the Bungle Bungles and through the East Kimberly. The afternoon wil be spent exploring El Questro Station. A hike through Emma Gorge will lead to a gorgeous waterfall, offering stunning scenery and a fantastic place to swim. Our campsite for the evening will be at an exclusive spot on the Ord River.

Day 8: Kununarra Region
On day eight of our adventure, we will explore the Ord River system. Your expert guide will show you the ins and outs of Kununurra. You’ll get to take a stroll through Mirima National Park before making your way to a special lookout for a tranquil Kimberly sunset.

Day 9: Lake Argyle to Katherine Region
On day nine of our adventure, we venture further to Ord River before arriving in Lake Argyle. Arriving in the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the optional activities. You can choose to relax at Lake Argyle or enjoy an optional cruise on the exhilarating waters of Lake Argyle (at own expense). After this, we will cross into the Northern Territory, where you will visit the Katherine hot springs. The final night of camping will be in the incredible Nitmiluk National Park.

Day 10: Darwin
On the final day of our Broome to Darwin tour, we will venture to either the stunning gorge of Nitmiluk also known as Katherine Gorge, or take one last refreshing dip into the cool waters of Edith Falls. In the afternoon, we make our way to Darwin where we drop you to your accommodation and say goodbye to your new travel buddies!
