This tour is recommended for travellers aged 18 years and above, however children 12 – 18 years may be permitted at adult prices. Please chat with us before you book if you are travelling with children.
This tour includes hikes of up to 9 kilometres, often in high temperatures and humidity. Please consider whether this tour is right for you and anyone travelling with you.
Luggage is restricted to a maximum of one 15kg backpack/soft travel bag and one hand luggage size bag. Strictly no suitcases.

Join our 10 Day Broome to Darwin Tour to explore Western Australia and the Top End, traveling through the rugged Kimberly region. The region is filled with breathtaking scenery with abundance of native Australian wildlife. Explore the rocky region of the Purnululu National Park and discover the prominent landmarks like the famous Bungle Bungles, stunning gorges in Windjana Gorge and a chance to explore the amazing sights of El Questro

Day 1: Broome
We’ll meet mid-morning to kick start our 10 Day Broome to Darwin tour and showcase you the vibrant outback town of Broome, sharing the significant stories as to why this town is so unique. After we have shown you around, we take a short trip to the beach to enjoy a picnic lunch and test out your skills in a classic outdoor Aussie sport – beach cricket! We will spend our first night at our accommodation in Broome and enjoy our first dinner as group.

Day 2: Windjana Gorge
We will start the day early with breakfast while getting ready to leave Broome to head towards the great Australian Outback towards to Tunnel Creek. You will be taken on a guided walk through the 750-metre tunnel through the Napier Range and learn about the significant Aboriginal history of the Indigenous warrior Jandamarra.
Have your camera ready to snap pictures of what was once an underwater reef 350 million years ago at the Windjana Gorge. During the wet season, a river flows right the way through, but during the dry season it shrinks to a series of ponds and billabongs. It is here we will set up camp for the night under the star-studded sky!

Day 3: Bell Gorge and Gibb River Road
On day three, we will venture further on the legendary Gibb River Road, a true outback odyssey passing over the vast rugged landscapes of the Kimberly. Here we will visit Bell Gorge, a relaxing retreat and one of the most stunning gorges on the Gibb River Road! Depending on the season, you may even have the chance to explore the stunning cascading gorges of Galvans or Adcock. In the evening, relax by the flowing of freshwater river by the campsite and watch the sun go down near Manning Gorge.

Day 4: Gibb River to El Questro Station
On this day we have the chance to visit some of the gorges throughout the area, including Manning Gorge, before we continue our journey towards the iconic Aussie outback road track, the Gibb River Road. A drive across the vast Pentecost River will take us to El Questro, where we will spend two nights.

Day 5: El Questro Station
On day five, the group will explore some of the one million acres of land that make up the El Questro Wilderness Park. Take a dip in the Zebedee Hot Springs and discover the beauty of El Questro Gorge with a hike. In the evening, relax by the river or grab a drink at the bar and enjoy another night at El Questro.

Day 6: Purnululu National Park
We start the morning early with breakfast. Be ready for a hike through the beautiful Cockburn Ranges, to enjoy a quick refreshing dip in the stunning Emma Gorge! We’ll pass through the magnificent landscapes of the Carr Boyd Ranges and ancient Durrack Ranges as we journey further to Warmin (Turkey Creek). Followed by a thrilling 4WD adventure with your experienced guide to go through the tough rugged terrain of the entrance to the Purnululu National Park, home to the world heritage listed Bungle Bungles. We’ll arrive at our campsite to sit back and relax and watch the sunset over the Osmond Ranges.

Day 7: Bungle Bungles
On day seven, we will prepare for an action packed day full of activities. Explore the spectacular Bungle Bungles and if you’re feeling the need for more thrills, take the once a life time optional flight over the Bungle Bungles (at own expense). Be amazed as you soar over Lake Argle, the Ord and Bow Rivers and the Car Boyd and Osmand Ranges, before catching a glimpse of the Bungle Bungles from above! Learn about the cultural significance of the area visiting the breathtaking Cathedral Gorge and exploring the red rock paths of Echidna Chasm. As the sun goes down, we make our way back to our campsite.

Day 8: Bungle Bungles and Lake Argyle
On day eight of our adventure, we will tackle another adventurous day of 4WD action to wind our way out of the tough terrain of Bungle Bungles. We venture further to Ord River before arriving in Lake Argyle to settle for camp for the night. Arriving in the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the optional activities. Whether you want to take a perfect Instagram worthy photo as you relax side by side the famous infinity pool soaring over the picturesque Lake Argyle or simply enjoy an optional cruise on the exhilarating waters of Lake Argyle (at own expense).

Day 9: Lake Argyle to Katherine Region
Day nine of our adventure, we hit the road to say goodbye to Western Australia as we cross over the border of Northern Territory. Soak up the views of boabs along the way, to our last campsite in Nitmiluk National Park.

Day 10: Darwin
On the final day of our Broome to Darwin tour, we will venture to either the stunning gorge of Nitmiluk also known as Katherine Gorge, or take one last refreshing dip into the cool waters of Edith Falls. In the afternoon, we make our way to Darwin where we drop you to your accommodation and say goodbye to your new travel buddies!
