This convenient transport to Port Arthur departs Hobart around 7:45 am. The comfortable bus transport will wind along the wilderness roads, offering scenic views and possibly spotting wildlife along the way. You will arrive at the Port Arthur Historic Site between 9:30 am and 10:00 am. Then, the day is yours to explore!

You can choose to add Port Arthur Historic Site entry to your tour so that you can just enter the site upon arrival without waiting in line. There is so much to see at the Port Arthur Historic Site, which is why you will have plenty of time to explore. There are over 30 historic buildings, ruins, heritage gardens, restored houses, and walking trails to discover.

Your entry to the historic site includes entry to the gallery, where you can immerse yourself in the interactive exhibits and displays to understand the history of Port Arthur. The entry ticket also includes a 20-minute harbour cruise, which allows you to view the historic site and its surroundings from the pristine waters that border it.

You can choose to explore the site and read the information signs dotted throughout, or you can utilise the new self-guided audio experience that guides you through the historic site from your own mobile device. Additionally, you can view the daily calendar and enjoy complimentary site talks given by the expert staff throughout the day.

After a full day of exploring, we will depart from Port Arthur at 4:45 pm for an arrival back in Hobart between 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm.
