Day One – (L, D)
Our 2 day Kangaroo Island tour starts off with a cruise to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island, taking you around the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula. We’ll then make our way to Pennington Bay, where you can marvel at the stunning views of the island’s beaches – keep your eyes peeled for dolphins.
Then it’s onto Seal Bay, one of Kangaroo Island’s most popular spots. Here, you can watch a colony of Australian Sea Lions basking on the warm sands and frolicking in the surf. After lunch, you’ll be able to go sandboarding on the Little Sahara dunes, explore the coastline from a kayak, or take up the more adventurous pursuit of quadbiking along the rugged routes around the island (quad biking at your own expense).
At night, we’ll bed down at a farm in the park after tucking into a delicious Aussie meal and sharing stories around a campfire.
Day Two – (B, L)
It’s an early start after breakfast on day two, as we head straight out on a hike around Kangaroo Island, weaving through the pretty trails and spotting native kangaroos, koalas, and elusive echidnas before we move on to the Flinders Chase National Park for yet more wildlife. While here, we’ll check out Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, which is home to a colony of New Zealand Fur Seals.
In the summer months, you’ll have the opportunity to swim and snorkel in the shallow waters surrounding the island, or kick back and relax on one of the many pristine beaches.
Our 2 day Kangaroo Island tour will conclude with a ferry to Cape Jervis to return back to Adelaide.
