We will then visit the oldest bee sanctuary in the world and stop by Clifford’s Honey to learn about the bees and enjoy a honey tasting. Next, we’ll visit Dudley Wines, which is a family owned winery. Here, you can take in ocean views and sip on some delicious wine.

Day 2: Kangaroo Island
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast before volunteering work if you like to. Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary takes care of Aussie wildlife like koalas, kangaroos, possums, echidnas and more. After the 2020 bushfires, we are trying to get the island’s natural habitat back.
You will then visit the popular Flinders Chase National Park. The national park is home to beautiful beaches, an array of wildlife and impressive rock formations. Go for a stroll along the boardwalk at Admirals Arch, spot seals, and be in awe of the remarkable rocks. Explore the bush at Weirs Cove and refuel with a picnic lunch before continuing into the exciting afternoon.
As if you haven’t seen enough wildlife today, we have more animal spotting to do today! Seal Bay is home to almost 800 sea lions. During your 45 minute guided tour, you’ll learn some more about these beautiful animals. We’ll go for a little stroll to the beach where you’ll be walking amongst the sea lions. They’ll probably not really be bothered about your presence and love to snooze away under the warm sun. Eventually, we’ll head back to our camp for another tasty dinner and a comfortable night under the Milky Way.

Day 3: Kangaroo Island to Adelaide
The final day of this tour will begin with a morning hike before heading to Kingscote for some coffee. For the remainder of the morning, you will have time to explore the northern coast of the island. You can weave amongst the caves before arriving at Stokes Bay. The beach was voted the best in Australia in 2023! You will get to spend time on the beach and enjoy a picnic lunch. If the weather permits, you can enjoy free time snorkelling or lounging on the beach.
After free time on the beach, you will get to volunteer and contribute to conservation efforts. You can learn about the research that has been taking place on the island with Passport to Recovery.
In the afternoon, you will be able to freshen up at the campsite before packing up and catching the ferry in Penneshaw at 7:30pm. We will enjoy one last dinner together (own cost) before your guide parts ways. From Cape Jarvis, your Sealink bus will connect you back to Adelaide by 11pm.
