Pinnacles Day Tour from Perth Itinerary
The first stop on our Pinnacles Day Tour will be at the Yanchep Lavender farm. All your senses will be engaged as you stroll through the colourful lavender fields, surrounded by the delightful aroma of the fresh flowers. You can also try some tasty lavender flavoured products (own expense) such as ice cream and other items from the farm’s café.
Next, we will visit the seaside town of Cervantes, the centre of the lobster industry on the West Coast. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch of lobster or other seafood from the Beachfront Lobster Shack (own expense). After lunch we’ll can take a walk along the Lake Thetis boardwalk. This is a great area to view the abundant range of wildlife of various flora and fauna from the region. You can also view the Stromatolites, which are one of the oldest living fossils in the world.
After spending some time along the coast, we will make our way to the famous Pinnacles Desert located in the Nambung National Park. You’ll get to learn about the history of the desert, which dates millions of years back to when it was covered by ocean water. Today, there are limestone pillars rising out of the sand as far as the eye can see.
