You’ll board the bus in Melbourne, where we’ll begin our adventure! From Melbourne, we’ll make our first stop for morning tea. Fuel up on a refreshing drink and eat some classic Australian snacks. Then, we’ll visit the iconic Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch. You’ll have a chance to snap some photos of this famous sign before we visit the laid-back beach towns of Lorne and the Wye River.
After that, we’ll get lunch by the sea in the pretty town of Apollo Bay. Here, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to grab a tasty lunch (at your own expense).
When we’re done with lunch, we’ll head over to Melba Gully (nicknamed the ‘Jewel of the Otways’). As Victoria’s wettest rainforest, Melba Gully is teeming with birdlife, thick ferns and lush green mosses. We’ll walk along the guided path through Melba Gully for about 20 minutes.
Then, we’ll drive through the Otway National Park. As we continue our journey from the rainforest back to the coastal road, we reach the best coastal view in Victoria – the 12 Apostles.
These huge limestone rocks echo 10 million years of erosion. Marvel at these breathtaking limestone stacks… Don’t forget your camera!
Next, we’ll head over to our final impressive viewpoint – Loch Ard Gorge, the Razorback and the Arch.
After a day packed full of gorgeous views, we’ll take the bus back to Melbourne. Kick back and relax on our comfortable bus as we return to Melbourne, where the tour ends.
Please note: This tour includes a fair amount of driving, as the Great Ocean Road covers a large area. We’ve planned plenty of scenic stops to make it a full and unforgettable day.
