A lovely beach in a lovely area of Victoria. Urquhart Bluff is east of Airey’s Inlet along the Great Ocean Road. Best seen when the tide is low to check out the reef. Walk out amongst the rockpools and spot the marine life. Enjoy a peaceful stroll with the vast Southern Ocean beside you. An unspoilt section of coastline.

Best for a stroll over a swim. This beach is not patrolled and is notorious for strong rips. If you’re not a strong swimmer head to Anglesea or Fairbanks to swim between the flags instead.

Beautiful spot to take in the sunshine on a summer’s day, or simply stretch the legs before continuing with your road trip.

A great spot for fishing – salmon, gummy sharks, flathead and whiting are all easy catches here.
