What to do at Great Otway National Park
A National Park is always abundant with pristine nature. The Otway’s is no exception. Walks, waterfalls, camping grounds, bike trails and tree climbs – this is an opportunity to escape the city grind. Enjoy moments of peacefulness and calm as you explore the region in Victoria’s south-west.
Driving along the Great Ocean Road, after Apollo Bay you will find the Great Otway National Park. You can spend plenty of time here or stop to stretch the legs.
Great Ocean Walk – this entire walk can take a week. Walk a small section of it and take in some amazing scenery around you.
Unwind – at the beach, in the forest, or at a local café. Pack a picnic and enjoy the great outdoors.
Get active – with something other than walking (which you’ll no doubt do plenty of). Play mini golf, go rock climbing or for a bike ride. You’re in the perfect spot to get outdoors and forget about your worries for a minute
Maits Rest Boardwalk – walk through lush rainforest and fern gardens. This is self-guided and you can go at your own pace.

Marengo Reefs Marine Sanctuary – walk amongst the reef and find marine life in rockpools at low tide. A protected marine area that is brimming with marine life.
