We start the day nice and early, setting off along the scenic route from the inner city of Melbourne. The first stop will be at the charming town of Tooradin, where you can stock up on morning tea snacks before heading off again. After arriving at the picturesque national park, you can stretch your legs with a guided wildlife walk, hopefully spotting some of Australia’s most beloved animals including the kangaroo, koala and more!
Our next stop will be Mt Bishop, where you can choose to do either an uphill hike of Mt Bishop, or the rainforest Lilly Pilly Gully nature walk. With both routes showcasing the wondrous wildlife and rugged views of the Prom, you can admire some of the spectacular scenery Wilsons Promontory is famous for. During the day’s adventures, we will get to see some of the best sights in the park, including the famous Giant Rock formation and the charming Tidal River.
Following this, we will do a guided walk along Squeaky Beach. Named after the squeaking sound your feet create as you walk through the white sand, this beach is often high on the list of Australia’s best beaches. Wander along the coast and marvel at the breathtaking views this extraordinary region offers, taking a dip in the sapphire waters while you’re at it!
Finally, once you’ve experienced everything Wilson’s Prom has to offer, we will end the day with a delicious dinner at the town Leonnngatha, before heading back to the city of Melbourne where you will be dropped off.
