Meet at pickup point & climb aboard our iconic royal boat
We’ll start the day with an easy-to-find meeting point at Federation Square or Southbank, close to all the action.
We’ll depart from our CBD meeting point and climb aboard our iconic river boat, the Elizabeth Anne. As the boat glides along the Yarra River, you’ll get the ultimate viewpoint of Melbourne’s iconic skyline.
Enjoy a relaxing morning cruise along the Yarra River
Enjoy watching the city go about its morning with this relaxing river cruise that weaves through the city. You’ll discover how Melbourne transformed from a gold rush town into the bustling, exciting city it is today.
Your tour guide will tell you all you need to know about the city’s key landmarks as we glide along the river. We’ll show you the key landmarks that have shaped Melbourne’s culture, including its world-famous sports precinct.
The MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) takes the stand as the largest sports ground in Australia, holding up to 100,000 people! As the home of the ashes, the MCG is the most famous sports ground in Australia. It hosts annual international cricket matches. We’ll also point out the famous Rod Laver Arena, which hosts a variety of international artists.
A peaceful walking tour around the Botanic Gardens
After the relaxing river cruise, we’ll arrive at the sprawling Botanic Gardens. Your leisurely morning eases into a stroll through the gardens, which is a lush green space full of native plantlife and impressive landscapes. This 45-minute walking tour of the Botanic Gardens allows you to stretch your legs and explore some of Australia’s native plantlife, without having to leave the city!
Explore Melbourne’s iconic laneways & street art
After our walk, we will explore Melbourne’s iconic laneways. We’ll head to the world-renowned Hosier Lane and AC/DC Lane, which is well known for its street art. This is a particularly special experience, as the artwork here changes all the time. The laneways you’ll see on this tour might never look the same again! Sip a cup of 5* Melbourne coffee at Degraves Lane
Your tour wouldn’t be complete without sampling a cup of Melbourne’s coffee. We’ll head over to Degraves Lane, the beating heart of Melbourne’s coffee culture. Sip coffee like a local, and enjoy a sweet treat to give you an afternoon boost before heading back to the boat.
Return to the boat
Our city tour ends with a cruise back down the Yarra River, where the tour ends. You’ll learn about the maritime history of South Wharf on the way back. You’ll have the rest of the day to enjoy this exciting city however you like!
