1 Day Phillip Island Deluxe Tour Itinerary
Our day begins in Melbourne. We’ll leave the city and make our first stop at the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park. Here you’ll get to interact with some iconic Australian wildlife.
Moonlit is home to over 60 different species of Aussie wildlife. You’ll see wallabies, kangaroos, wombats, dingos and Tasmanian devils.
Wander around the sanctuary and hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies. We’ll also get a lesson about koalas from a knowledgeable ranger. You’ll even get the chance to cuddle a koala and buy a photo!
Depending on the time, we may stop at Cape Woolamai Beach, which is famous for its surfing. Watch the surfers ride the waves, and stroll along this windswept beach.
Then we’ll head up to the Nobbies. Stroll along the boardwalk and soak up the dramatic coastal views. Try and spot the fur seals basking on Seal Rocks. If you’re visiting in winter, you may even spot whales on their migration journey!
As the afternoon continues, we’ll make our way to Summerland Beach to wait for the penguins to peep out of the ocean at sunset! Get yourself wrapped up warm, as the beach can be windy. The weather might get cold, but cuteness is guaranteed.
The little penguins of Phillip Island spend the day at sea catching fish. At sunset, they’ll peep out of the water and waddle back to their burrows in the sand. Watch the little penguins in their natural habitat – it’s an unforgettable experience!
After the penguin parade, we’ll head back to Melbourne, where the tour ends.
Please note: The Woolamai Beach stop is time permitting.
