Our one-day Yarra Valley tour begins in Melbourne, where we’ll transfer you to the rolling hills of the Valley. We’ll start with a visit to the Gateway Estate, a gourmet farm that makes their own range of delicious relishes, which you can tuck into with a platter of local fruit and cheese. Next we make a sweet stop at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice-Creamery so you can grab a bite to eat and sample some mouth-watering sweet treats from the region.
Afterwards, we’ll head to the Napoleone Brewery and Cider House, where you can try rustic ciders and ales. For lunch, it’s on to Killara for a long Italian style lunch. Choose from the seasonal Mediterranean inspired menu of pizzas, pastas and salad and take in some of the best views of the Yarra Valley.
Our last stop will be Hanrahan Winery or Punt Road Wines (Wednesday only). These family owned wineries offer tastings of their exemplary Yarra Valley Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and other stunning varietals, as you relax against the picturesque setting of their vineyard. Then it’s back through the dipping valleys to Melbourne, where the tour comes to an end.
