Around the Bay Food & Wine Lovers Tour Itinerary
Starting at a variety of centrally-located pick-up points in Melbourne, our driver and guide will escort you in air-conditioned comfort to the Bellarine Peninsula, which lies to the south and west of Port Phillip Bay. Breathing in the fresh sea air of Geelong’s coastal esplanade, you’ll make your way to your first of four tasting sessions. At the French-inspired Scotchman’s Hill vineyard you’re free to sample the latest vintages under the guidance of the in-house sommeliers.
At the Jack Rabbit Vineyard, you’ll be treated to a lunch packed full of local produce, before you cross from the Bellarine Peninsula to the Mornington Peninsula on the opposite side of the bay as part of a dolphin-spotting and sightseeing cruise which includes tea and scones.
Switching from wineries to breweries, your next destination has you tasting the very best craft beers in the beer garden of the St Andrews Beach Brewery, which has gone from strength to strength since opening in 2015. For alternative views of the peninsula, your tour then directs you to the Murrays Lookout, from where you can look down on your final stop, beaches that have crystal-clear waters to one-side and brightly-coloured bathing boxes to the other. Having explored the region, your driver and guide will take you back to central Melbourne.
