Darwin Harbour Dinner Cruise Itinerary
Your Darwin Harbour Dinner Cruise begins with a warm welcome from the crew of the Charles Darwin at Stokes Hill Wharf in the Darwin Waterfront District. Slipping its moorings, you’re free to explore the three passenger decks of the luxury catamaran. These include two fully air-conditioned interior spaces, as well as the open-air top deck and additional external deck spaces at both ends of the vessel.
Just a stone’s throw from Charles Darwin National Park, there’s a chance to catch sight of a range of native marine species, from saltwater crocodiles and shy dugongs to playful dolphins. Rounding the peninsula, this 2.5-hour cruise takes in all of Darwin’s most important features. It edges the Larrakeyah Naval barracks on route to Cullen Bay, before reaching the waters of Fannie Bay to the city’s west.
In addition to the endless panoramas on display, your time on board the Charles Darwin also includes a delightful buffet-style meal inspired by the bounty of the Northern Territory. Take your pick of a range of tasty dishes, from chilled North Australian oysters to the likes of locally produced steamed vegetables, by way of native bush beef salads and grilled reef fish. If that wasn’t enough, you also have the option of a variety of sides, and desserts including fluffy chocolate mousse and fresh tropical fruits. If there’s a better way to explore the heart of Darwin, we’re yet to find it!
