We’ll take you to all the best spots on Phillip Island, starting with the Phillip Island Koala Reserve, where you can wander along the boardwalks amongst the eucalypts and observe koalas in their natural habitat with a guided ranger walk. Keep your eyes peeled for a glimpse of other incredible critters, like wallabies, bats and the elusive echidna.
We travel across the island, admiring the spectacular coastal scenery along the way, to arrive at the impressive Nobbies Centre. Watch the seals play on the rocks from the special observation cameras at The Nobbies, before visiting the Nobbies Information Centre. Walk the boardwalk to admire the rugged Phillip Island coast and view the powerful ocean force as it creates a blowhole. As you wander along the picturesque boardwalk, see if you can spot any penguins in the boxes or other animals amongst the scrub.
To finish, we’ll watch the Penguin Parade as the Phillip Island little penguins make their way up the beach as the day comes to a close. Take a seat on the beach and be amazed as the little penguins emerge from the water to waddle their way across the sand and into the safety on their burrows in the sand dunes. Then, walk along the boardwalks in the sand dunes to follow the little penguins to their burrows. This iconic event is the perfect way to end a fantastic day. Afterwards, it’s time to head back to Melbourne and back to reality.
Please note that during busy periods we may be using a larger bus for this tour.
