We’ll start the afternoon with a leisurely cruise along the Yarra River, where you can relax and soak up the scenic views of the city from a new perspective. En route, we’ll pass by the “Polly Woodside” and bluestone wharves, which are throwbacks to the early settlement days.
After the cruise, we’ll get back on to dry land and start a coach tour of the city. We’ll pass through Melbourne’s bustling Central Business District and Melbourne Park, before stopping off at the Royal Botanic Gardens where you can take a stroll through the manicured surroundings.
Then it is on to the Docklands waterfront via Bolte Bridge and along the bay of Port Melbourne. On this part of the journey, you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of the mesmerizing scenes at St Kilda and Brighton.
Later on, we’ll stop off in the stylish Acland Street for a coffee and a patisserie (own expense). After you’ve tucked into delicious sweet treats and refueled with a hot drink (at your own expense), you’ll have the chance to have your photo taken in front of the iconic Brighton Beach bathing boxes.
For sports enthusiasts, there’s plenty to see, too, including Melbourne’s much-loved cricket ground, the Etihad Stadium, and the Albert Park Lake, which is home to the Australian Formula One Grand Prix.
When the tour comes to a close, you will have experienced the city from numerous different angles, soaking up the culture, history, and incredible scenes that define it.
