Day One (D)
The tour departs from Melbourne, where we’ll head directly for the countryside. Once there, you’ll get to experience the Victorian Alps, the Great Dividing Range, sprawling forests, and cascading rivers. Along the way, we’ll share insights about some of Australia’s most notorious legends, like Ned Kelly and the infamous bush rangers.
We’ll check out Mansfield, where the historic gold rush of the 1850s took place and where Ned Kelly stood for trial. These days, you can learn about the rich history while browsing the great selection of seasonal produce the town is known for.
You’ll stay overnight on a real working farm, where you can meet the animals and learn about country living.
Day Two (B)
The next day, we’ll head to the vibrant capital of Canberra, where you’ll have a chance to explore its diverse history and stately appeal.
Here, you can experience the impressive architecture of Parliament House, dip in and out of the many museums and art galleries, and try some of the local restaurants serving traditional Australian fare. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the city on your own terms before we head back to Sydney.
